first public beta of meshac, a native anticheat that runs inside a fabric server. players install nothing.

pick the jar for your server version (needs fabric api):

  • meshac-0.1.0-mc26.1.jar for 26.1.x (java 25)
  • meshac-0.1.0-mc26.2.jar for 26.2 (java 25)
  • meshac-0.1.0-mc26.3.jar for 26.3 (java 25)
  • meshac-0.1.0-mc1.21.11.jar for 1.21.11 (java 21)

what it catches

movement, combat, building, mining, interaction and elytra checks. caught in real-client tests: flight, speed above sprint-jump pace, step, spider, jesus, fast climb, no slow, timer, blink (0.75 s and up), air jump, high jump, elytra fly, reach, criticals, crystal aura, anchor aura, auto totem, nuker, packet mine, ghost hand, auto clicker, and more. the per-module tables are in docs/coverage.md and docs/COVERAGE-METEOR.md.

how it was tested

the last full sweep ran 138 hack cases with 57 legit controls on the final jar. no legit control was flagged. details in docs/FINAL-SWEEP.md.

what it doesn't catch, or only half catches

  • kill-aura is caught on some runs and not others. it's counter based, so a patient aimed one can slip through.
  • bow aimbot, explosion knockback tricks, blink shorter than about 0.4 s, and boosts above 45 blocks per second are not caught.
  • speed at or below sprint-jump pace looks like a fast legit player, so it isn't flagged.
  • some modules are untested, and a few client runs (auto fish, auto sign, mass tpa) are only proven with scripted bots.

versions

movement and combat checks were run on 26.1.2 and 26.2. the 1.21.11 and 26.3 jars load and boot, but have had no full client run yet.

chunkveil

anti-xray and anti-esp are in the jar but off by default. they've only been tested with protocol bots, not a real client. with anti-xray on, players see about 2% fake ores. turn them on with veilXray and veilEsp in the config if you want to try them.

punishments

a flag puts the player back, then holds them, then kicks. repeat offenders get tempbans that grow (10 min, 1 hour, 6 hours, 36 hours, up to 7 days). permanent bans are off unless you turn them on.
