Windows and Linux are experimental. Intel Macs and other Linux distributions are not included in this release.
What was verified
All three builds pass 11 CTest suites, including real video-frame decoding. Each packaged application passes a startup check. Windows and Linux installers are installed, started, and uninstalled on their CI hosts; package dependency paths are checked independently of the build environment. macOS also has separate-Mac checks for video/subtitle rendering, fullscreen transitions, and cursor/control hiding and wake.
The release validation record lists exact build commits, CI runs, and remaining coverage. Windows/Linux checks do not establish physical GPU, audio, credential-backend, or native desktop behavior. No live AI account is needed for the tests.
Sources and integrity
SHA256SUMS covers the installers and platform-specific corresponding-source archives. The source archives preserve exact upstream library sources, patches where applicable, build instructions, and notices. Windows includes signed MSYS2 source packages matching the bundled DLL inventory. Dependency licenses remain separate from Neden’s MIT license.
Bring your own videos and subtitles. AI features require a configured provider or compatible endpoint, and provider charges may apply. The IINA plugin remains a separate build.
