Some readers are experiencing an issue in Nigeria where network providers are blocked from accessing developer-focused websites on Hashnode.

I have been unable to log in to my account since January. Please, do something about this.

Hi! It happens for a lot of websites other than hashnode, the problem lies with the ISPs (MTN & co.); a VPN would grant you access, you can try out Cloudflare’s Warp.

Hi @contigen What I've experienced mostly happens with sites hosted with VERCEL and the NAMESERVERS config of the domain is not pointing to ns1.vercel-dns.com & ns2.vercel-dns.com. This worked well for me and nobody needed/needs a VPN to access the blog.

ok, great! So you did that how exactly?

Having my hashnode blog assigned to a custom domain. I went to my domain control panel (Namecheap) and changed the default Nameservers cc Image1 below to custom Nameservers cc Image2 which points directly to vercel's nameservers. This wouldn't have been an issue if i bought my domain name from vercel directly.
