The config can be accessed by going to <game_directory>/config/armor_trims.toml or with cloth config.
All config options associated with how the mod is mainly used.
- New Smithing Table GUI — Determines whether the GUI added by the mod is used. Not really practical unless you enforce another method of getting templates.
- Don't Consume Smithing Templates — A feature that should've been in vanilla, setting this to true will make smithing templates no longer be consumed when used.
- Disable Vanilla Netherite Upgrading — Disables the vanilla/old netherite upgrade recipes. Not recommended for use with the option below.
- Disable New Netherite Upgrading — Disables the new form of netherite upgrading added by this mod. Not recommended for use with the option above.
- Allow Untrimming — Allow the use of shears to un-trim armor.
- JEI/REI Enabled — Determines whether JEI (on Forge)/REI (on Fabric) is enabled for the mod. This will turn off all JEI/REI recipes loading for the mod in case it's causing issues or just unwanted.
There are also a few things that can be configured as item tags via datapacks.
#armor_trims:trim_materials
This tag defines what items can be used as trim materials. Like a normal item tag, you can add or remove materials here. If adding a new material it is also recommended to have a palette for it (more on that here).
#armor_trims:non_trimmables
This tag can be used to define items that shouldn't be trimmable when they otherwise would be. This can be armors that don't look right with trims, or equipment that for instance is placeable and would lose the trim when that happens.
