Release list
Job Manager 3.6.1
Host Monitor now keeps CPU/memory gauges and history graphs at a consistent height. Cards can grow for additional jobs while leaving spare room below the content.
Running-job rows use uniform spacing, including the gap between the first and second job.
Validation: 3,280 local tests and 233 subtests passed (24 skipped). All six CI jobs passed. Patch coverage: 12/12 added executable lines (100%) in the combined CI reports.
Job Manager 3.6.0
Add individual Hold and Release for waiting jobs in the built-in Bash and PowerShell helper queues. Held jobs remain on the host, use no running slots or resources, and cannot be started by Force. Release preserves After conditions, scheduled start and priority.
Manual holds and After waits now display HELD with their reasons. Details includes Apply Priority, Hold and Release controls alongside the existing editable name and download settings. The full record, host monitor and counters reflect the hold state.
The local API, Python client and CLI support Hold/Release. Queue transitions handle concurrent polling and cancellation without reviving cancelled jobs or misreporting a moved entry as LOST.
Running jobs are not suspended. An older helper already running on a host must finish its queue before manual Hold is available.
Coverage validation: all 257 executable lines added by the 3.6.0 feature patch are covered in the combined Linux, Windows and integration reports (100%). Real Bash and PowerShell Hold/Release bridge tests run in CI.
Job Manager 3.5.2
Job Details now displays the complete saved job record and submission preset, including Force chain, the preceding job and its completion condition, scheduled start, timestamps, file and download metadata, and Job Server identifiers when present. Current host settings are labelled separately from the submission snapshot.
Priority now displays its number without the helper-queue explanation.
Validation: 3,238 tests passed, 24 skipped, and 231 subtests passed; Ruff and release-version verification passed.
Job Manager 3.5.1
Fixes
- Show every running job directly in its Host Monitor card, one line per job.
- Keep job rows stable during polling, update them as jobs finish, and retain full names and queue IDs in tooltips.
- Reuse the existing job-change updates without adding host probes or polling.
- Give two Bash runner CI tests explicit CPU and memory budgets, isolating slot/dependency checks from host resource-probe timing.
- Include the corrected Job Server repository links and live Codecov badge from the latest documentation.

Job Manager 3.5.0
Changes
- Add built-in helper queue priorities from -1000 to 1000. Higher values run first; equal values keep submission order. Submit and change priorities through the monitor, API or CLI.
- Optionally make a forced submission wait for the previous forced job on the same host, including batch submissions.
- Show useful details when double-clicking a job that has not started yet.
- Add the existing Tail File… context-menu action beside Tail Log in the Job Monitor.
- Keep polling lightweight when normal slots are occupied, and use atomic PowerShell priority updates.
- Refresh the README and website screenshot with fictional example jobs.
Upgrade note
Priorities and sequential forced submissions apply to the built-in Bash and PowerShell helpers. A helper already running retains its existing rules until its queue drains; the next submission starts the new versioned helper. Running jobs are not interrupted.

What's Changed
- Keep the mouse wheel scrolling settings dialogs (3.4.2) by @HiroYokoyama in #41

Job Manager 3.4.1
Fixed
- Job Server standard log viewing now uses the dedicated log endpoint. The API log command and file-tail view no longer reject job.log as an unsafe/reserved result path.
- Ordinary result paths retain their existing validation.
Validation
-
Added a regression test for empty and job.log filenames.
-
Built wheel and sdist; the installed 3.4.1 wheel passed GUI/CLI integration against Job Server 0.3.2, including upload, downloads, log preview, failure codes, queue operations, cancellation and daemon restart recovery.
-
Full local suite: 3,163 passed, 24 skipped, 230 subtests passed. All six source CI jobs passed.
The published PyPI package smoke test passed in all six environments. PyPI index propagation delayed some initial installs; rerunning only those environments passed. Both PyPI files match the GitHub SHA-256 digests, with PEP 740 attestations attached.
