Heavy Weapon Disadvantage (Dice Rolling, on by default): an attack with a Heavy weapon starts at disadvantage when the wielder can't handle it. It follows the world's rules version: under 2024, less than 13 Strength (melee) or Dexterity (ranged); under 2014, a Small or Tiny wielder. It's added as one more source of disadvantage, so advantage cancels it and effects that prevent disadvantage stop it.
Loading Weapon Warning (on by default): a second attack with the same Loading weapon in one combat turn shows a warning but is still rolled. Crossbow Expert ignores Loading on crossbows.
Reload Weapon Shots (on by default): a Reload weapon's shots are tracked as its Limited Uses. An empty weapon offers to reload instead of rolling, and a Reload weapon without Limited Uses is offered setup after its first attack.
Lance Disadvantage (on by default): the 2014 Lance attacks at disadvantage against a target within 5 feet.
Flanking (off by default): the DMG optional rule. A creature and an ally on opposite sides or corners of an enemy's space get advantage on melee attacks against it. Needs a square grid and one target.
Spell Component Warnings (Gameplay Enhancements, off by default): warns when a Silenced creature casts a spell with a verbal component, or when a character casts a spell with no-cost materials without an equipped focus or a component pouch.
Carolingian UI support: request cards, the card chooser and the request window keep their own look under Carolingian UI's themes. Hero -Card buttons sit inline on its compact chat cards, and Chat Button Labels is switched off while it's enabled.
Changes
Inspiration cards can no longer be played on initiative rolls.
Every setting name is in title case, as D&D 5e names its own. "DC by default" is now "Default DC", and "Team Challenge scoring by default" is now "Default Team Challenge Scoring".
Fixes
Character sheets draw faster with Item Rarity Colours on.
Only a GM can tell a player their bonus die wasn't applied.
The GM guide's setting names match Foundry's.
Other modules
Heavy Weapon Disadvantage stands aside while Midi-QOL is active, since Midi-QOL applies Heavy itself. Flanking stands aside while Midi-QOL's own flanking option is on.
