• VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE Living Faith Church Cannanland ICT Group: Feb. 2022 - Present

Secretary, Programming Instructor, and Front-end Developer

• Teach an average of 40 teenagers weekly on the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate and build projects alongside other developers on different solution-oriented projects using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Correlate reports and send reminders relating to unit members and project meetings.
• Follow up on the training process of recruiting new members and ensuring they are properly settled in their various functional units.

Front-End FOXES – Mentor: September 2022

• A remote non-profit organization based in the USA that trains women from all over the world on the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Attended weekly calls with Instructors, where the mentees were taught extensively the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Supported mentees all through the period of the training, by being on standby to answer both technical and non-technical questions.

Digital Coding Initiative (DCI) – Team Lead & Founder: Dec. 2020 – Oct. 2021

An initiative with the sole aim of bridging the technological gap between underprivileged students and their counterparts in other developed countries. The core goal of the initiative included holding physical training for secondary school students (with 50% female participants) on the basics of HTML and CSS.

• Partnered with the Ministry of Education Abeokuta, Ogun State, APTECH Education Center, Abeokuta South, and the NYSC Secretariat Ogun State during the entire timeline of the Abeokuta DCI training.
• Championed crowd-funding and social media campaigns to raise money for the initiative, as the students were not levied in any way.
• Organized an awareness seminar before the physical training, and engaged speakers from the APTECH Education Center, to sensitize representatives from the schools on what to expect from the practical training.
• Led a team of programming instructors, and drafted a suitable curriculum for the practical training, while actively liaising with the Computer Teachers of each school represented.
• Successfully trained a total of 450+ students, cut across federal and private schools in the suburbs of Abeokuta Ogun State, Nigeria.

She Code Africa (SCA) – Front-End Technical Coordinator Nov.2020 – Aug. 2021

A non-profit organization focused on celebrating and empowering young girls and women in tech across Africa.

• Organized and moderated bi-weekly interactive sessions/fireside chats with industry experts and 400+ ladies of the SCA Front-End community across Africa.
• Worked alongside a team of administrators, curating bi-weekly tasks for the Front-End community, grading technical solutions and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the community.
• Brainstormed with program managers of the She Code Africa team on better approaches and initiatives to be adopted in training and grooming the ladies of the Front-End community.

• Oversaw technical support and maintenance for 30+ end-users, resolving 98% of hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
