Breaking

version: latest now resolves to Crowdin CLI 5.x (currently 5.0.1) instead of 4.x.

Crowdin CLI 5.0.0 was rewritten from Java to TypeScript and upstream started publishing native binaries itself, so the action now takes 5.x straight from the official crowdin/crowdin-cli releases.

5.x has breaking CLI changes of its own — --debug was removed, and crowdin context download lost --format. If you are not ready to migrate, pin a 4.x version, which keeps working exactly as before.

Upstream never shipped native builds for 4.x, so those keep resolving to the standalone repository.

Fixes

• Tool cache never hit for latest — the binary was cached under the resolved tag but looked up under the requested version, so every run re-downloaded ~84 MB. Now checked after the tag resolves.
• Runtime bumped to node24; node20 is deprecated on GitHub Actions runners.
