Requires Node 24 or newer. Node 26 is supported. Node 20 and 22 are out of range.

CI runs npm ci + npm run check on Node 24 (Active LTS) and Node 26 (Current).

Fail-closed accessibility evidence gate for websites, Svelte, Tauri, Bevy, and Godot. Not a WCAG certificate and not on the npm registry.

Install

npm install --save-dev github:imyourboyroy/WCAGate#v2.3.0
npx wcagate init --preset astro
npx wcagate doctor
npx wcagate run --base-url http://127.0.0.1:4321 --routes /

Or add package.json scripts wcagate:doctor, wcagate:prepare, wcagate:audit, and wcagate:results. Copy-paste prompts for coding models are in the README.

Highlights

  • Product renamed to WCAGate (wcagate / wcagate-mcp / @imyourboyroy/wcagate)
  • GitHub-only distribution (github:imyourboyroy/WCAGate); do not npm publish
  • PDF/UA plane removed — this engine is for web, Svelte, Tauri, Bevy, and Godot
  • Results HTML (wcag-audit/results.html) plus MCP compact findings for coding models
  • Fail-closed doctor, consumer prompts, and npm scripts for install/audit/results
