Apparently
selectInfo.selectable()
still returns true when meshes are not displayed by theM3dView
, so we are also testing the objectDisplay status.Note that I'm still letting selections through when we're in hilite mode (component selected before the display stopped showing messages). I'm not sure that's the right thing todo, but I guess it's ok since we're not really a mesh...
