EXE vs JAR

It is recommended to use the EXE version of the installer on Windows, unless you know how to run a JAR file.

If you run into this issue, simply click "More info" and then a "Run anyway" button will appear. Click "Run anyway".

Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognised app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk. Run anyway

Install a JDK
