Harbor beta 2.1, built on Firefox 156.0.1. Windows x64 only.

What is new since beta 2

• Yandex is in the search engines and is the default in the Russian region. Change it any time in Settings; a quick search from the address bar uses @ya.
• The first-run "choose your apps" screen shows the real site logos instead of generic glyphs.

Install

Download harbor-1.0.0b2.1.en-US.win64.installer.exe and run it. The build is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen will warn about it. Beta 2 updates to this version on its own.

Known issues

• The Yandex entry in the search list shows a generic icon until you first open Yandex (its real icon then appears)
• Sharing a space, folder or split view is off until a share server is set up
• A new window opens with a blank tab selected; a private window opens on the home page
• Dragging tabs in the vertical tab strip can misbehave

Harbor 1.0.0 beta 2

Second beta of Harbor, built on Firefox 156.0.1. Windows x64 only.

What changed since beta 1

• The interface is now fully translated. Beta 1 shipped Harbor's own strings only, so menus and settings fell back to English. All 40 supported languages now include the Firefox translations, Russian is the default.
• The first-run setup is back. Beta 1 skipped it for everyone.
• Crash reports are no longer sent anywhere, and debug logging of spaces is off.
• New pictures for the layout choices in the settings.
• The first-run setup is readable: the Start button, the Back link and the selected options were dark on dark.

The files of this release were replaced on 8 October with a rebuilt beta 2 (build 20261008191758) that carries the fixes above. An earlier beta 2 updates to it on its own.
