irm https://github.com/JMS1717/stream-machine/releases/latest/download/install.ps1 | iexOr download StreamMachine-windows-x64.zip below, unzip it and double-click Install.cmd.
Linux (beta; systemd distros, including Bazzite):
curl -fsSL https://github.com/JMS1717/stream-machine/releases/latest/download/install.sh | bashThe setup wizard then finds your LG TVs (turn them on first), pairs them (press Allow on each TV) and asks which streaming client and host to use.
What's in 2.0
- TVs follow the PC: on at boot and wake, off at sleep and shutdown (not restart), with HDMI input switching. Works with Windows Fast Startup.
- Several TVs: find, pair, set the main TV and remove TVs from the controller menu, each with its own input and on/off rules.
- A controller menu over anything (Windows): hold the Xbox button (0.4 s) or View + Menu. It has Sleep, Restart, Shut down, TV off, Start stream, Home, mouse mode, keyboard, Health and Settings.
- TV volume slider: pick a target and the TV walks there one step at a time.
- Streaming clients: Punktfunk, Moonlight, Parsec or a custom command, with the host and app picked in Settings.
- When you disconnect: it leaves Steam Big Picture on the host and, optionally, puts the host to sleep.
- Xbox button: choose whether it goes to the host or stays on this PC (Punktfunk).
- Linux daemon +
streammachineCLI with a setup wizard and a stream-after-wake agent. - One-click install and uninstall; everything the installer changes is put back by the uninstaller.
Upgrading from 1.0: run the installer. Your TV and its pairing are moved over automatically.
