Core Multisig Helper v0.1.0

Initial versioned testing release of Core Multisig Helper.

Core Multisig Helper is a small Bitcoin Core-based utility for creating and using offline M-of-N multisig wallets with fresh Ubuntu Live sessions and optical-disc signer backups.

Features

  • Configurable M-of-N multisig
  • BIP87 account derivation
  • wsh(sortedmulti(...)) multipath descriptors
  • Separate Bitcoin Core signer wallets
  • Separate watch-only wallet
  • Private wallet state kept in RAM-backed /dev/shm
  • Swap disabled before private-key generation
  • Networking disabled before private-key generation or signer loading
  • One signer loaded per fresh spending session
  • CD-R backup creation with byte-for-byte verification
  • Sequential PSBT signing workflow

Bitcoin Core

This release bundles Bitcoin Core 32.0rc2 for x86-64 Linux.

Security status

This software has not received an independent security audit.

The wallet-generation, backup/restore, descriptor, watch-only, signer-loading, and PSBT-signing flows have been tested, but the complete physical optical-disc workflow still needs broader hardware testing.

Test the complete workflow with disposable funds before relying on it for real custody.
