ScopeMap 2.0
Connect with one Platform API credential
ScopeMap now works entirely through the Jamf Platform API, and it is the
recommended way to connect. One environment-scoped integration reaches Jamf Pro,
Classic, Blueprints, Compliance, and Jamf Protect, so there's no second
credential to manage.
- Jamf Protect now needs no separate API client in Platform API mode. Add the
Protect capabilities when you create the integration and switch Protect on in
the server editor. - The server editor leads with Platform API, and the README has a new quick
start covering environment setup, scope, and the exact capabilities to grant.
Scope and permissions can't be edited after an integration is created, so
follow the quick start before you create it. - Destructive Mode capabilities for Platform API are now documented. Delete is
optional, and ScopeMap stays read-only without it. - User/Password and API Client modes remain fully supported, and are the option
for self-hosted Jamf Pro. - Blueprints are no longer marked beta.
Find configuration profiles that are ready for DDM
- Profiles that use settings Apple has replaced with a declaration get a
collapsible "DDM available" section in the inspector, with severity counts
and links to Apple's deprecated and removed key lists. - A blue dot on the Map marks profiles that have a native DDM component in Jamf
Blueprints. - A new Filter option, "Blueprint component," shows only the profiles that do
(or don't).
Clearer Blueprints
- Components are grouped under Native DDM and Legacy payloads, collapsed by
default, with readable settings instead of raw JSON. - Compare and Compare export show per-setting differences between blueprints.
- Search finds blueprint components and their individual settings.
- The deployment status shows on the Payloads tab, and "Out of date" blueprints
are called out in orange.
Fixes
- Blueprints no longer appear under "All Computers" or "All Mobile Devices" in
Journey. The Platform API has no all-devices scope. - Go to from Search now works for blueprints.
- The Search platform picker is no longer clipped on macOS 27.
- The Filter popover is wider, so the controls no longer run off the edge.
