Release list
Pitwall 0.8.1
• A card under Next Up introduces the "go to next" shortcut and turns it on in place. Choose Later to see it again in a few days, or Don't show again.
• When you return to Next Up sessions by hand, Pitwall mentions once or twice that ⌘↓ gets you there from any app.
macOS 15 or later; Apple silicon.
Pitwall 0.8.0
• Next Up: one queue across agents puts requests and waits first, then failed or unknown rounds, unseen finished rounds and your pins. "Go to next" walks it, then running sessions. Pro adds a global shortcut, off by default: turn it on in Settings → Alerts → Next Up.
• Handle requests from the keyboard in the menu bar panel: ⌘↩ approves or sends, ⌘⌫ denies, ⌥⌘↑ / ↓ switches requests, and arrow keys, Space and Return choose answers.
• Approvals and native waits share one queue across the main window, menu bar and notch, and answer drafts are kept when you switch.
• Codex Desktop questions show the session as waiting, with the question, until you answer in Codex.
• Return to a tmux pane, and to the Ghostty tab of a session where Ghostty supports it.
• Set up, repair or remove each agent's collector from Settings, with progress from configured to receiving events.
• Settings is split into General, Agent, Alerts and Privacy & Data. A Devin missing only its approval or question hook gets an Update button.
macOS 15 or later; Apple silicon.
Pitwall 0.7.1
A Claude Code question answered in Claude's own dialog now leaves Pitwall right away. Pitwall now updates its hook scripts when the app updates, so collector fixes apply without rerunning the installer. An installed agent that isn't connected yet, such as OpenCode, gets an Enable button in Settings, the main window and the menu bar, and agents that aren't installed no longer show as sources that need a check.
Pitwall 0.7.0
Pitwall now follows OpenCode: OpenCode 2.x sessions appear on the board, show when they are waiting on a permission or form, and permission requests can be answered from Pitwall. Returning to a session selects the Terminal, iTerm or Otty tab of the OpenCode client that shows it. To set it up, run pitwall-collector install opencode. Failed tasks can now be dismissed from Needs Attention.
Pitwall 0.6.0
Answer your agents' questions from Pitwall: Claude Code, Codex, Devin and Pi questions appear as a form in the main window and the menu bar. On a MacBook with a notch, the notch shows when an agent is waiting on you; hover to see who and what, click to go there. Search now matches agents' replies, history keeps the branch each task ran on, and sessions whose agent has exited leave the current list.
Pitwall 0.5.0
Kimi Code desktop sessions now appear on the board, with no setup. If CC Switch rewrites Claude Code's settings when you switch providers, Pitwall says so and reconnects in one click. The main window's lists show larger agent icons.
Pitwall 0.4.1
Two fixes: notification clicks no longer raise the dashboard over the agent you returned to, and Codex Desktop's background suggested-tasks scans no longer appear as stuck sessions.
Pitwall 0.4.0
What's new
- Updates from Pitwall. Check for updates from Settings or the menu bar. Pitwall offers the newest version covered by your trial or license, verifies the signed update, and asks before downloading and installing. Background checks can be turned off in Settings.
- A clearer attention list. Acknowledged cancellations leave the attention list so it stays focused on sessions that still need you.
- Easier installation. The disk image includes an arrow and English and Chinese instructions for dragging Pitwall to Applications.
Install (macOS 15 or later, Apple silicon)
Download Pitwall.dmg below, drag Pitwall to Applications, and open it from Applications. The app and disk image are signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
Versions up to 0.3.0 do not include the updater: upgrade manually once to get future in-app updates. Your existing settings and agent configuration are preserved.
Pitwall Pro licensing and the 14-day trial continue unchanged. Agent session data stays on your Mac. See the website for setup and licensing details.

Pitwall 0.3.0
What's new
- Approve from Pitwall. Approve or deny permission requests from Claude Code, Codex, Devin and Pi in the Pitwall window, or approve straight from the notification banner. Requests you don't answer go back to the agent's own dialog. It's on by default (Settings → Approvals); rerun
pitwall-collector installto add the approval hooks, and in Codex trust the new hook once via/hooks. - Pitwall Pro. Approvals are the first Pro feature. Every install starts with a 14-day trial of everything. After that the board, notifications, returning to sessions and history stay free in versions released during your trial; a US$29 license adds Pro features and a year of updates. Paste your key in Settings → License.
- Settings shows the support email and website.
Fixes
- Clicking a notification opens the agent session directly.
- The collector installer skips only an agent that fails to install, reports it at the end, and prints its messages in English and Chinese.
Privacy
Agent data still never leaves your Mac. Activating a license sends only the key and your Mac's model; once activated, a weekly check sends the key and activation ID to see whether the license was refunded. Details in the privacy policy.

Pitwall 0.2.0
What's new
- New app icon: the pit wall's timing screen.
- Running sessions now keep a race order, longest running first. Rows slide to their new place, and a small arrow shows who gained or lost a place.
- Live durations read like a timing screen (
Running for 2:07), so ticking numbers no longer jump around. - A chequered flag in the menu bar, and a few quiet race touches in the window and the menu bar panel.
- Settings moved to the bottom-right of the window, next to the source status.
Fixes
- Right after launch, Codex sessions that were still being imported could briefly show up under Needs Attention as "Task details unavailable". They now appear only once their records are fully read.
