This is a bugfix release of Confconsole for v16.x (based on Debian 10/Buster). It is taken from the current HEAD of my 16.x branch of Confconsole (at the time of writing this commit: bf1334d).

Instructions to install (using SSH or other proper interactive terminal):

  1. Update Dehydrated (may or may not be required but recommended)
mv /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian-backports.list.disabled /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian-backports.list
apt update
apt install -t buster-backports -y dehydrated
  1. Download and install this deb:
wget https://github.com/JedMeister/confconsole/releases/download/v2.0.2/confconsole_2.0.2+14+gbf1334d_all.deb
apt install -y ./confconsole_2.0.2+14+gbf1334d_all.deb
rm -f /etc/dehydrated/confconsole*
  1. Run Confconsole:
confconsole

IMPORTANT NOTE Please use the pre-packaged deb file. The attached source code is (autogenerated by GH) from the 2.0.2 tag - so these ARE NOT the same as the source code in the packaged deb! If you want to work with the source, please clone the 16.x branch locally.
