  • A group row of a Date column shows the date instead of an English timestamp, and a group of null values shows labels.blankGroupValue instead of "null".
  • formatFilterLabel takes options and labels, and formatGroupValue takes a third argument { type, options, labels }, for the same text.
  • The header filter cell of a column that cannot filter, the generated lanes included, is no longer named "Filter on …".

• #174 3fcdbf3 Thanks @Psvensso! - - createTMDataGridUrlState({ key, columns, slices }) builds typed deep links from the grid's columns: a filter, operator, value or sort the columns do not offer is a type error.
  It gives urlKey, the link as searchParams, search or payload, a route validateSearch, and persist(storage) for a router that keeps objects in its search, such as TanStack Router.

  • Columns from createTMDataGridColumnHelper carry their id, meta.type, value type, operators and filter, sort and URL switches in their type, as TMDataGridColumnInfo. Runtime column objects are unchanged.

  • highlightOnHover on the Table forces the tint on or off for every row.
  • Rows carry data-highlight-on-hover="true" while the tint applies.

• #169 1aa083f Thanks @Psvensso! - - persist.urlKey keeps selected data slices in a URL search param, written with history.replaceState.

  • persist.urlStorage replaces the default URL access, for routers that own the URL.
  • meta.filter.url: false keeps a column's filter out of the link.
  • A global filter cleared over an initialState.globalFilter is persisted as cleared; before, a reload came back on the initial value.
  • Persistence writes are debounced across re-renders, as intended; before, a re-render wrote at once.

• #167 749995f Thanks @Psvensso! - - TMDataGridFilterFn type, tmDataGridFilterFn and matchesFilter are exported: a column's own filterFn receives the { operator, value } envelope and can delegate to the built-in matcher.

  • A column with no minSize now has the documented floor of 80 for resizing and pinned widths as well as for its fluid track; TanStack's 20 applied before. Pass defaultColumn: { minSize } to change it.
  • The empty-state message and renderEmptyState's hasActiveFilters now use the same rule as the pills: a half-typed filter no longer counts as active, so an empty grid with the filter panel just opened shows noRows, not noResults.
