KITPro Linux Server 1.1 is the first KITPro Linux release built around the
native KITPro Installer 1.2.0. The installer supports Quick and Custom storage
workflows, manual GPT layouts, Btrfs, native LUKS2 encryption, LVM,
LVM-on-LUKS2, encrypted swap, and qualified partition-preservation and EFI
reuse paths.
The release uses Linux LTS 6.18.59, activates AppArmor, and introduces the
1.1-g0001 immutable signed package generation. Existing KITPro Linux 1.0
systems have a qualified package-manager upgrade path with previous-kernel
fallback and checkpoint-based recovery. KITPro Console remains optional and is
not installed or enabled by default.
Qualification covered Quick ext4, encrypted LVM, and preservation/EFI-reuse
installations in disposable QEMU environments, a production-signed 1.0-to-1.1
upgrade, kernel fallback, interrupted-update recovery, and a physical Quick
ext4 installation on a Beelink system with WD PC SN540 NVMe storage and Intel
I226-V networking.
Known limits: Secure Boot is not supported in this release. RAID, general
dual-boot, and advanced multi-disk layouts are outside the qualified scope.
Physical coverage is limited to the recorded Beelink configuration; verify
backups and hardware compatibility before destructive installation.
Download the ISO and its signed checksum manifest from the release assets.
Verify the ISO before writing installation media. Upgrade instructions and
recovery guidance are included with the release.
