Koder TUI 0.3.1 — Responsive input on Windows and macOS
Koder TUI 0.3.1
This update fixes dropped input after queue navigation and reduces typing latency during streamed output. Windows x64, Apple Silicon Mac and Intel Mac archives include Koder CLI 0.4.12 and Node.js 22.23.3.
- Typing or pasting from queue navigation returns to the composer and preserves the first character.
- Keyboard input takes priority over background repainting. Configuration reads no longer block each key.
- Completed Markdown lines are reused during streaming. Slow terminal output keeps the newest pending frame instead of accumulating outdated frames.
- The decorative refracting loop and its animation refreshes have been removed. Conversation output uses the recovered space.
- Persistent input, queued task ordering, Todo, steering, interruptions, status settings and all 58 CLI routes remain available.
Before packaging, 43 private regression tests and seven real macOS PTY interaction checks passed. In a local fixture with 156,000 characters of streamed history and a 200 KB configuration, the P95 key-to-render time fell from 32.7 ms to 3.6 ms across 45 samples. This measures the local test environment; it is not a claim about every terminal or input method.
Re-run the current installer to update. Existing profiles and the separate koder command are preserved. See release verification for platform checks and remaining device tests.
The same Koder-EULA-1.1 agreement applies. This repository publishes downloads, documentation, installers and release verification; proprietary development source and private test suites are maintained outside the public branch. Runtime archives include the files needed to run the product under the applicable licenses.
Verified on all three hosted platforms, with a separate public Windows installation check. Official-site downloads match the package checksums and GitHub asset digests. See the attached release-validation.json for the complete record.

Koder TUI 0.3.0
Koder TUI brings the complete Koder CLI 0.4.12 runtime into an independent terminal workbench. Windows x64, macOS Apple Silicon and Intel archives include Node.js 22.23.3.
The composer stays available during streaming. Ctrl-S steers the active turn, while Esc and Ctrl-C interrupt without exiting. Queue future prompts, reorder them, expand the session Todo with Ctrl-T, and restore conversation and Todo metadata with /undo. The configurable status line includes model, context, workspace and rotating shortcut tips. /help contains 79 entries and Ctrl-P exposes 58 original CLI routes. A transparent refracting loop provides ambient motion.
Installation is per-user and retains an existing CLI command and profile. The full runtime, its business modules, KARMEN LOOP engine, documentation and third-party notices ship in every archive. No model credential or external permission is bundled.
Verification
Before packaging, 40 workbench tests and 127 targeted CLI tests passed. Real macOS PTY runs passed 10 interaction checks and six supervised-launcher checks. Platform package checks and hosted CI results are listed in release-validation.json.
Windows desktop terminal interaction, ConPTY/IME, native Windows-MCP GUI, live provider and external ACP behavior, cross-device migration, account writes, and accessibility remain unverified unless explicitly recorded in that file. Hosted Windows tests are not a substitute for those device checks. Intel and Apple Silicon packages are separate; no signed desktop application is claimed.
Behavior to know
Todo undo restores conversation metadata, not completed external effects. Dedicated CLI screens temporarily take over the terminal. External adapters need explicit Todo/undo support. A tight context budget can omit the optional Todo tool for that turn. CLI update/uninstall commands retain their original CLI scope; update this workbench by re-running its installer.
Published installation checks
All three platform packages and the public Windows installer passed. Download release-validation.json below for hashes, prior failures and remaining device checks.
The Windows bootstrap now prefers TLS 1.2 PowerShell downloads and falls back to curl and a second source. If a previous download failed, use the official Windows installer; it stops before execution when no source succeeds.
