• ¥ (U+00A5) on GB2312 / GBK / GB18030 profiles is sent as the full-width ￥ (A3 A4). CoreFoundation encoded it as the 4-byte GB18030 sequence 81 30 84 36, which GBK-only printers such as the Gprinter GP-58 printed as an unrelated Chinese character.
• KVItem layout on legacy multi-byte code pages (GB*, Big5, Shift_JIS, EUC-*): every character that encodes to more than one byte is counted as two cells, not only CJK ideographs, so the last digit of a right-aligned ¥ price no longer wraps to the next line. New printableWidth(_ profile:); the encoding-agnostic printableWidth is unchanged.
