• The application is fully optimized for Chrome & Firefox and will not work on browsers that don't support next-gen AVIF images.
• The top-left QuickNav buttons are Chrome specific and will not work unless used as an extension.

Description

A modern and simple speed dial that lets you bring all the websites you love to the new tab page. It offers quick access to your notes and to Chrome's history, downloads, bookmarks and extensions. It comes with a variety of settings and options to customize the featured pages and the possibility to upload custom backgrounds.

Setup dev environment

• Open a terminal of your choice
• git clone https://github.com/KlibrDM/metro-tab.git
• cd metro-tab
• npm install
• npm run dev

Setup in chrome

• Clone the repository to your system with the steps above
• In metro-tab directory execute npm run build
• Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/
• Tick Developer mode on the top-right
• Click on Load unpacked
• Navigate to metro-tab/public
• Select the directory and click OK
• Make sure the extension is turned on
• Open up a new tab
