Hot Promote Alpha

A comprehensive update to the Hot Promote functionality to enhance deployment workflows and user engagement.

  • New UI & Outliner: Implemented a new Outliner view with improved icons, status indicators, and grouping to visualize changes effectively.
  • Comparison View: Added side-by-side "Old vs. New" Ace editors with line-level diff highlighting to easily review changes before application.
  • Change Execution: Introduced a robust "Execute Changes" flow that handles changesets asynchronously.
  • Filtering: Added ability to manage, save, and select filters for deployments.

Script Debugger 2.0

Significant improvements to the debugging experience within the Scripts Editor.

  • Variables Panel: Added a collapsible/expandable panel to view Local and Global variables, with support for copying values.
  • Session Management: Improved handling of debug sessions, including auto-cleanup on unload and better state detection.
  • UI Polish: Debugger controls now hide when inactive, and the layout prevents toolbar overlapping.

Project & Application Management

  • Edit Capability: Users can now edit Project Details and Application Versions directly via dedicated edit buttons in the UI.
  • Row Actions: Enabled right-click row selection to display context menus for faster navigation.

Rules Editor Enhancements

  • Sidebar Actions: Users can now select, replace, and clear rule view tags directly from the sidebar.
  • Linked Cubes: Added a workflow for selecting linked cubes within the rules sidebar.

Widget Finder

  • Search Logic: Improved search tokenization to handle punctuation, special characters (Lucene escaping), and mixed-case patterns more robustly.
  • UI Updates: Added "Clear" and "Remove" actions for search rows and a complete Reset button to clear the finder state.
  • Design: Fixed popup inconsistencies for better design alignment.

MDX & Grammar

  • Comparator Support: Added TM1 comparator tokens to the MDX grammar.
  • Strict Parsing: Applied strict mode for parse_mdx within the Model Maker context.

  • Long Paths: Enabled core.longpaths for native Git operations to prevent errors with deep file structures.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • MDX WITH Clause: Fixed an issue where MDX queries using the WITH clause threw errors; member definitions now function correctly in the parser.
  • View Edit Focus: Resolved a bug where focus did not transfer correctly in the "Views Edit Expression" window, which previously prevented editing Filter sorts.
