Worrying Performance of Json

Json is widely used for applications and i would like to knwo the reason behind why its so much slower in Wasm vs Js and if there are plans to improve it.

Note that this benchmark is using a simple JSON parser implemented in Kotlin.

The benchmark heavily works with strings, and JS engines are highly optimized for strings (as well as for JSON and RegExp).
