Note for setup (Mission Planner Parameter page) : some important parameter settings were:
- CRUISE_SPEED: 2 m/s (fast enough to go over the grass, but not too fast on the pavement)
- CRUISE_THROTTLE: 25% (prevents Rover flip when AUTO mode is enabled)
- THR_SLEWRATE: 35% (prevents Rover flip when accelerating)
- THR_MAX: 40 (limits max speed)
Critical setup step: On the Mission Planner Radio Calibration page check the roll (steering) "Reverse" box. This was critical for the APM module to steer in the correct direction. Otherwise it started off in the opposite direction. Also on the Mission Planner Waypoint listing on the Flight Plane page set the WP radius to 2.0 (Default is 6 and that can create too much variance in the mission path).
