vphone 2.13.8
vphone 2.13.8
Core Bundle
vphoned-tvosis now built against the AppleTVOS SDK instead of being the iOS build with its platform rewritten. Its tvOS code paths, and IcliKit's, now run on Apple TV and HomePod guests: apps such as Irisin's are registered as user apps, so PineBoard shows them on the Home screen, and app launch, URL opening, the screen saver and the frontmost app go through PineBoard and FrontBoard. On tvOS,clipboard.clearreports that the system has no clipboard. The watch daemon is unchanged. (#763)- On the 26.4 kernel, an iOS 26.6 or newer userland's 5-scalar
aks_unlock_bagis accepted, so escrow-bag unlock and encrypted backups work. The patch is applied at create time; existing machines need a new kernelcache. (#761) - The Apple TV and HomePod presets enable the guest BTVC patch, so bluetoothd's virtual LE controller may connect there as on iPhone. (#762)
Launchpad 2.13.8
- No source changes besides the version. No
vphone-cliargument or output, bundle layout, receipt or escalator changed, so the 2.13 series stays interchangeable both ways and the minimum bundle stays 2.13.0. The helper is unchanged (build 21). vphone-launchpad-2.13.8.zipis built by CI and not notarized; macOS blocks it the first time you open it (see Downloads).vphone-launchpad-2.13.0-notarized.zipkeeps working with this bundle.
Upgrading
In Launchpad's Core Bundle page, install VPhone.bundle 2.13.8. A TV guest gets the new vphoned when it is installed into it again, and the BTVC patch when its environment is updated.
Validation
- CI builds the Release
VPhonescheme and Launchpad, runs bundle admission, and checks bothvphone-escalatorslices before attaching the files. - Local Release build:
vphonedis iOS,vphoned-tvosis tvOS from the AppleTVOS 27.0 SDK. - vphoned logic (386), session (34), hierarchy, HomePod and system maintenance tests pass.
- Not yet run on an Apple TV guest; the
aks_unlock_bagpatch is not yet validated on device.
