In this article I will explain some important concepts in image processing, and also provide an easy recognition project made in Python using Cv2 and DLib libraries.

Pre-requisites

Python 3.5 or higher
Python3-Tk
Dlib

Dependencies

 To plot images install
 $ sudo apt-get install python3-tk 
 
 To use Dlib properly
 $ sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev

Setup

$ mkvirtualenv -p python3.5 facial-recognize
$ workon facial-recognize
$ pip install -r requirements.txt

run

$ python domain/frontal_face_classifier.py
$ python domain/facial_landmarks_classifier.py
