v0.7.0

Transeen is now public under the MIT license, with a new bilingual product website and a universal, notarized Mac app.

  • Capture any screen region, translate text in place, compare with the original, and annotate independently.
  • Use Apple on-device translation or your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
  • Activate with a Transeen TR- code; optionally bind it to an iTool account for recovery. SM- and IT- codes are separate products.
  • Choose 检查更新… in the menu bar or launcher to check GitHub for new versions.
  • Includes the OCR crash fixes and translation-layout improvements from 0.6.1.

Requires macOS 26 or later. Supports Apple Silicon and Intel. The app interface is currently in Simplified Chinese. The official app requires activation; see licensing.

Download the DMG, open it, and drag Transeen to Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed, notarized by Apple, and stapled. A ZIP and SHA-256 checksums are also provided.
