Pokee for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (USA, ULUS-10391, version 1.01). It does not include the game. On first start it asks for your own disc image and accepts only that release.
This release is for Windows x86-64 and Linux x86-64, the Steam Deck included. macOS, Android and the Flatpak are not part of it.
Windows: the Windows zips are added to this release shortly. Until then, stay on v0.4.8: it runs the same game code, and your settings and saves carry over to 1.0.0 when it arrives.
Pokee 1.0
1.0 is the game code of v0.4.8, which has been played as the release candidate on Windows (an RTX 4090 PC and a second PC), on Linux and on the Steam Deck: whole hunts, multiplayer, saving and loading, sound and music. Nothing a player can see has changed since v0.4.8 apart from the version number, so a v0.4.8 setup, its settings and its saves carry straight over.

What changed since v0.4.8
- The version is 1.0.0.
- Linux builds are back; v0.4.8 shipped for Windows only.
- Stable releases are for Windows and Linux; the docs say so, and record the play that made v0.4.8 the candidate (COMPATIBILITY.md).
For developers
- The repository's history was rewritten. Code generated from the game had been committed by mistake (
profiles/mhfu/generated/andprofiles/mhfu/overlays/); it is gone from every commit, branch and tag, so every commit ID since October 5 has changed. Clone again, or move an existing clone onto the new history; a pull into an old clone deletes its generated code from disk.generate.shandbuild_overlays.shwrite those folders, as BUILDING.md describes. - CI runs on
mainagain, on Linux and Windows: the unit tests, formatting and Ruff pass. Cppcheck still reports 8 diagnostics, each reviewed as a false positive (#34). - Only one source line the game runs changed:
game_camera.cppincludes<sstream>, which the macOS and Android toolchains need. Everything else is CI, tests, formatting and docs.
