[Feature] G5 standalone option

We've had some issues with Dexcom signal loss, so would like to explore the option of standalone Loop with G5. This PR fixes some issues with xDripG5, and should be able to be rolled in to the Loop app.

I thought I'd open this issue to see if there is interest in a standalone Loop app. Also enables running Loop with expired transmitters, if someone wants to port the xDrip+ calibration routine over.

Jobs to be done:

• add switch to Loop options (standalone / alongside Dex)
• add UI for calibration and sensor start/stop
• add page for G5 status (last calibration, battery level, sensor age etc.)
• add alarms
• add backfill logic
• have Loop upload glucose directly to NS

Clearly, there are some advantages to stick with the current arrangement; not sure yet if the benefits of the standalone app outweigh the disadvantages.

I would like to voice my support for this. Iosxdripreader is a working option when used with nightscoutshareserver, however a standalone app solution would be ideal. Having the option of using expired transmitters would be fantastic since insurance deductibles every year may create a barrier for some users.

I'd be interested in that very much. Especially to be able to snooze the alerts if we already have entered carbs in Loop would be a great future for nights. By using the Contour Meter you could even automate the calibration as the data is wirelessly sent to the pump where Loop already retrieves it. That could just feed in the calibration mechanism.

Really interesting. Someone was working on porting iosxdripreader to swift. Maybe this Will get easier to get missing parts here

Closing this issue...the related-PR has been closed and the upcoming CGM-manager changes would have made the PR moot, too. Spike use seems to have filled this request (people desiring to leave Dexcom app realm) as of late.
