Loopring will be holding a new trusted setup for our zero-knowledge circuits, just like we did for our previous protocol release.

We will start by doing a trusted setup with a limited number of participants in the coming days. Once we are sure everything is finalized we will allow everyone that wants to participate in our trusted setup to contribute starting somewhere in January 2021.

If you’d like to participate, please follow the getting started instructions. Some technical skills are required to join, so make sure you are able to follow the instructions and have the necessary hardware and internet connection to do so. We will organize the order of participants in the keybase group chat so be sure to check in when you are ready!
