Features

• In-app auto-update: the update modal now has an Update now button that downloads the signed installer from GitHub Releases, verifies the ed25519 signature, installs it and relaunches the app - no manual reinstall needed. Download progress and install/restart status are shown in the modal, with graceful fallback to the manual download on failure.

Improvements

• macOS universal builds (Apple Silicon + Intel) are now part of the release pipeline; every release ships Windows, Linux and macOS installers.
• Releases now publish a signed updater feed (latest.json) plus per-platform signatures and updater bundles (.app.tar.gz for macOS), generated automatically by CI.
• Update checks use the signed updater endpoint instead of the unauthenticated GitHub API, and the obsolete backend check command was removed.

Notes

• Builds older than 0.1.8 do not embed the updater: the 0.1.7 to 0.1.8 step is the last manual install. From 0.1.8 on, updates arrive inside the app.
