Responsiblities

- Most of the gameplay programming -

Gameplay features, some UI
- Create tools, using Unity features -

Created tools for level / game design, such as:
  • Implementation of CSV Import for enemy stats (Importer by Leon Schramm)
  • Crossfade and SFX setup
  • Tutorial dialogues
  • Player Movement

  • - Communication with artists and game designers -

The game was developed with ten people.
Some initial ideas, general game design, etc. was part of my work.
Very close work with our VFX artist, SFX and music designer (all the same guy!)
UI Programming was mostly done by David Teinert.

Explaining tools, communicate about file formats, implementation of assets and solving other problems was daily business.

    - Administrative work -

Managing version control (back then - Perforce using P4V) preparing the build for presentations.

    Example scripts

Developement faced a lot of problems, there are still some scripts I'd like to show:

This was my first time working with Unity and C#.
I learned a lot of things, nowadays I would do a lot of stuff another way.
