@LvisXVI LvisXVI released this 28 Oct 13:49

Mod Studio 1.1.2 built in.

  • Embedded Mod Studio is now 1.1.2: textures up to 128 px, Blockbench as the main editor for painting and modelling, a glass-style launcher, quitting when the last browser tab closes, and a runtime that is unpacked only once.

Modspire 0.3.13 – Real glass in Translucent designs

Choose a tag to compare

@LvisXVI LvisXVI released this 28 Oct 11:45

Real glass in the Translucent designs.

  • Fluid Glass, Crystal Glass and Translucent now look like real glass in the Glass and UI 4 layouts: chat panel, composer, bubbles, bars and cards start at about a fifth of opacity with a light glass tint, blur and a darkening layer behind, so the scene shows through and text stays readable. The opacity control now goes down to 8 %.
  • The other layouts keep their usual opacity until you set a value yourself.

Modspire 0.3.12 – Glass palettes are see-through again

Choose a tag to compare

@LvisXVI LvisXVI released this 28 Oct 11:21

Glass palettes are see-through again.

  • Fluid Glass, Crystal Glass and Translucent are really see-through now: the surface-opacity control goes from 30 to 100 % (it stopped at 82 %), the three glass palettes start translucent, and the chat panel, composer, bubbles and the bars in the dark layouts follow the control with a glass tint and blur.
  • In the light Classic and Modern layouts the top-bar title and buttons are light again on these palettes.

Modspire 0.3.11 – Performance check

Choose a tag to compare

@LvisXVI LvisXVI released this 28 Oct 10:53

Performance check.

  • New Performance check in the Pack lab: a short test measures your processor, graphics card and memory, then estimates how the current pack runs (frame-rate range, CPU / GPU / RAM load, memory to give Minecraft, render distance, tips). Nothing leaves your PC.
  • Fixed overlapping top-bar buttons on wide windows and unreadable picked-mod tiles in the dark glass layouts.
  • The website shows a sharp preview video and screenshots, and its music never starts on its own.

Modspire 0.3.10 – Dialogs close properly, calmer top bar

Choose a tag to compare

@LvisXVI LvisXVI released this 28 Oct 10:03

Dialogs close properly, calmer top bar.

  • Every dialog closes with Escape or a click on the dimmed area around it; some used to trap you.
  • Top of the app: one consistent title row, action buttons and pack setup strip in all five layouts, readable selects on light layouts, unified status chips.
  • Pack lab shows one short note instead of four empty analysis cards while the pack has no mods.

Modspire 0.3.9 – Clearer chat, calmer picker

Choose a tag to compare

@LvisXVI LvisXVI released this 28 Oct 02:22

Clearer chat, calmer picker.

  • Unified mod card in every layout, with a 16:9 gallery and a clean footer in the large picker; star shows on every card.
  • Inline chat picker is paged ("show more") instead of a nested scroll area; follow-up ideas are trimmed to five.
  • Chat follows the light/dark tone of the active UI and theme.
  • New Pack assistant avatar; the pack name reads as a title with a "Saved" status.
  • Design dialog is readable in every layout (no more white on white).
  • Empty-pack actions are hidden until there are mods; icon-only nav items have labels.

Modspire 0.3.8

Choose a tag to compare

@LvisXVI LvisXVI released this 27 Oct 23:10

Modspire 0.3.8 — Mod Studio 1.0.0 built in

  • Mod Studio 1.0.0: the embedded Studio is now the first full release after the alpha series. It has its own app icon (a pixel-art block with a pencil) in the launcher, tray and browser tab, and the alpha wording is gone.
  • Everything from 0.3.7 stays: new Modspire icon, calmer surfaces, redesigned sidebar, resizable window, animated backgrounds and the full Blockbench editor in Mod Studio.

Modspire 0.3.7

@LvisXVI LvisXVI released this 27 Oct 22:34

Modspire 0.3.7 — new icon, personal desktop shortcut

  • New Modspire icon: a spire of grass, stone and diamond blocks crowned by a crystal spark, on a glass tile – seven sizes from 16 to 256 px with a simplified drawing for the small ones, so it stays sharp in the taskbar, Explorer and on the desktop.
  • Your own desktop shortcut: when you choose your name on first start, Modspire places "Name – Modspire" on the desktop with the new icon and your initial as a badge.
  • Fixed: that shortcut no longer breaks when the portable app closes – it now points to the EXE you started, not to its temporary unpack folder.

Modspire 0.3.6

@LvisXVI LvisXVI released this 27 Oct 22:21

Modspire 0.3.6 — calmer surfaces, new sidebar, resizable window

  • Calmer, consistent boxes: rows inside a panel no longer paint their own slightly different backgrounds. Cards, fields and tiles share one subtle tint that follows the panel colour, in all five layouts and every theme – no more stripes or off-colour bars.
  • New sidebar: rounded buttons with a gentle hover lift, an accent marker on the active page and visible keyboard focus. UI 4 and UI 5 get a compact icon rail with centred, larger icons; hover shows the name.
  • Rounded everywhere: fields 12 px, cards 18–20 px, panels 24 px.
  • Fixed: the window can be resized again by dragging its edges.

Modspire 0.3.5

Choose a tag to compare

@LvisXVI LvisXVI released this 27 Oct 21:45

Modspire 0.3.5 — UI audit fixes

  • No more top-bar overlaps: a long pack name shrinks with "…" instead of running under the buttons; on narrower windows the secondary buttons collapse to icons (hover shows the label).
  • Readable everywhere: an automated audit of all 9 themes × 5 layouts × 4 views at two window sizes found and fixed light-on-light and dark-on-dark text – Pack Lab in UI 4 and Glass, "Your pack", the setup strip in Modern + Emerald, the status chip in Modern + Nether and more.
  • Contrast guard: after every theme, layout or view change the app checks text against its real background and switches unreadable text to dark or light.
  • Setup strip labels no longer break mid-word; "KI-Hinweise" is translated in English.
  • Includes everything from 0.3.4: full Blockbench in Mod Studio, the new chat, animated backgrounds and the glass launch animation.
