OpenCode connection

  • Connect a local OpenCode server, load models from connected providers and select them directly in the Modspire chat.
  • Start an installed OpenCode CLI from Settings. App-owned servers use a generated protected password and stop with the app.
  • Existing Pack Assistant, Mod Creator, catalog suggestions and compatibility reports also work through this route, including the local browser view.

Free-tier limitation: the official OpenCode free service rejected the tested external request even through its local server. Known restricted free models are disabled. Configure a compatible provider in OpenCode; account costs and quotas still apply.

Validation

  • All 42 test files passed; final settings contrast and model-picker polish were retested.
  • Real reply through OpenCode 1.19.3 and local Ollama/Qwen verified.
  • Native OpenCode startup, protected password storage, session permissions, model discovery, settings persistence and failure handling verified.
  • Windows x64 portable build completed successfully.
