Very big changes to support FreeBSD and OSS MIDI! To sum up, these are:

  • Code has been refactored to better separate the back-end driver from the middle-ware (which may allow adding even more platforms quite easily in the future).
  • New OSS back-end added.
  • IUP version has been replaced with GTK3 directly, as IUP did not want to build on FreeBSD due to years of abandonment. This has a small benefits of de-cluttering the UI by using GTK3 file selector widgets. The UI is built with Glade.
  • In the GUI utility, transfers now happen in a separate thread. This was needed as OSS will drop incoming packets if you're not quick enough, but also benefits to the Linux version too.

At the moment I have a small issue of the GUI trying to resize itself if the file names are long (which they usually are for the files it saves...).
