I'm testing using HealthLog version 1.45.0, I deleted a document imported with Paperless. I cannot find a way to access a "trash can" or something else to undo the deletion. Am I missing something? Thanks for the app, so far it's been awesome to use it. |

Thanks for raising this, and glad HealthLog works well for you so far. You are not missing anything: on 1.45 a deleted document is kept for 30 days before a nightly cleanup removes it, but the only ways back are the Undo button in the toast right after deleting, or the API ( The next release adds Recently deleted to the Documents page. It lists every deleted document with its type, date, where it came from (for example imported from Paperless-ngx) and how many days it has left. Each one can be restored, or deleted for good right away. The import picker also lets you tick a document you deleted: if it is still in Recently deleted it is restored with everything that belonged to it, and if it was already removed it is imported again. Automatic imports (the Paperless workflow or the import script) still never bring a deleted document back on their own. If you need the document back before then and it was deleted less than 30 days ago, let me know and I can walk you through the API call. |
v1.46.0 is out with Recently deleted on the Documents page. Your Paperless document should show up there if it was deleted within the last 30 days, with a Restore button next to it. Let me know if it doesn't.
