Adding a custom menu

Now that you have a JSON file that adheres to the specification, we can add it to the game.

All your custom menus, should live under the following folder:

For Servers

Server Folder/<World Name>/serverconfig/customchestmenus/<JSON file>

  • Server Folder => Is the top level folder your server has
  • World Name => the name of the world you want to add the menus to
  • JSON File is your custom menu .json file.

For singleplayer

Minecraft Instance/saves/<World Name>/serverconfig/customchestmenus/<JSON file>

  • Minecraft Instance => Is the minecraft folder, this can often be opened directly from your minecraft launcher.
  • World Name => the name of the world you want to add the menus to
  • JSON File is your custom menu .json file.
