CV Tailor 1.0.0

  • Generate an optional cover letter alongside a tailored CV, with explicit one-run consent and independent outcomes.
  • Review/edit each document separately. Letters now use three short, friendly-professional paragraphs focused on relevant experience, with only a few relevant tools—not a skills inventory or detailed CV retelling. Avoid routine academic detail and unsupported degree-completion claims.
  • Education and skill evidence is readable instead of raw JSON. Optional recipient names stay local and are not sent to Pi.
  • Keep letters with factual findings editable instead of forcing a paid retry. Known issues still block approval/export until resolved.
  • Export approved letters as a selectable PDF or editable Word document using the bundled Letter/Lato template.
  • Simplify CV review: remove Checks & options and the separate Check CV for issues button. Check page length runs local factual checks and actual PDF measurement together. Preserve source review, manual editing and explicit approval.
  • Cover-letter approval remains separate: review and acknowledge every paragraph's sources, resolve findings and measure one-page fit before approving.

Windows download

Download CV-Tailor-Setup-1.0.0.exe. This is an unsigned Windows x64 installer; Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. Back up your workspace before upgrading. The in-place 0.1.0 → 1.0.0 update preserved the existing workspace on the maintainer's Windows machine.

Verification and limits

Build/package native SQLite and pinned compiler checks passed. The genuine installed app passed isolated SQLite reopen and visible letter review/approval with real PDF/Word exports from fictional model output. This is not installed live-provider generation or a writing-quality guarantee. No repeated final full suite was run. Pi authentication remains external and every model run requires consent. Known consent metadata collision: #123. Third-party notice/redistribution review limitations remain documented.

See release evidence.

The old v0.1.0 GitHub release was removed at the maintainer's request after the new asset digests were verified. Git history is retained.
