APWorld changes:

  • New Feature: Custom Starting Tool - choose whether to start with Brush or Pencil
  • Maximum number of traps has been increased from 35 to 50
  • Changed logic to match updated similarity calculation client-side
  • Added version info to slot data

Client changes:

  • Changed similarity calculation, slightly reducing false positives
  • Added code to check APWorld version, allowing permanent backwards compatibility
  • File->New now sends a deathlink
  • Forced client to English, fixing an issue with tools not being received properly
  • Disabled Select All functionality when the Select tool has not been obtained

Hosted client is available at https://mariomantaw.github.io/jspaint and beginning with this release, the default YAML is included below.
