You have VI installed on your machine? Use it in powershell without ever leaving the console!

Usage

Before you start, make sure you have chocolatey installed on your machine!

Then start by:

PS> register PSVim	
PS> vi ./YOURFILE

Commands

vi | vim

Start VI

Edit-Profile

Edit your Powershell Profile in vi

Edit-Vimrc

Edit your _vimrc file

Edit-Hosts

Edit your host file
