migrate vn2.2 -> vn3: xios SIGABRT on write

Hi, I've hit a snag porting my first diagnostic from lfric_apps vn2.2 to vn3. It was producing correct output as an SVN branch. I'm getting a SIGABRT on write when running on HPC. The small example config runs locally. Is there any documentation I can read about moving to vn3, or any gotchas to be aware of? Does anything jump out from a glance of the PR? Many thanks for any pointers!

How does one go about investigating something like this on HPC? I'm imagining using gdb to rerun the failed command from the HPC command line, or ideally as a remote debug session from an IDE. This has been a huge time saver for me in the past on AWS.

Have a look at the Development Tools section in the Cray EX User Guide (see the link from the sidebar of the VE group). There's a subsection called Debugging Tools which describes how to use DDT and gdb4hpc.

Solved: The vn2.2 file definitions contained name="$ROSE_DATAC/lf_diag_aviation". Removing the $ROSE_DATAC/ fixes the problem.
