FNAFSBCraft 1.0.0-beta

The most advanced passthrough mod I know of: play all of FNAF: Security Breach as Steve, with Minecraft's movement, physics, HUD, inventory, blocks and mobs inside the Pizzaplex. It will keep getting updates for a while.

I wanted to release this before the hype around passthrough mods dies out, and I won't be able to work on it for about a week.

As far as I've tested, the game is entirely beatable. There are a few bugs and glitches, which is why you can press F6 to turn Minecraft mode off (and on again) at any time.

I've tried to make the mod as immersive as possible. You can:

  • enable block breaking with /experiment enable block_breaking
  • enable other gamemodes, opening doors you shouldn't, and other "cheats" with /gamerule allow_cheating true

Read the installation instructions carefully, or it might not work.

Install

  1. Download FNAFSBCraft-1.0.0-beta.zip below.
  2. In Steam: right-click Security Breach → Manage → Browse local files. Unpack the zip into that folder (Quarters).
  3. In Steam: Properties → General → Launch Options: type -dx11. Without it the mod can't draw anything.
  4. Start the game. The first time, Prism Launcher asks you to sign in with the Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition, then downloads Minecraft and Java (a few minutes). Alt-tab to it if you don't see it.
  5. Load a save: you're Steve. F6 switches between Steve and Gregory.

You need Security Breach on Steam and Minecraft: Java Edition. Full instructions, all features and how to uninstall are in the README.

Found a bug? Report it with your UE4SS.log (in fnaf9\Binaries\Win64).

Highlights

  • Minecraft physics and controls in the Pizzaplex, with the game's walls and floors as collision
  • Build, fight, and mess with the animatronics
  • Ride Freddy, crawl through vents (hold Shift), hide, use doors, buttons and save stations
  • Steam achievements as Minecraft advancements, subtitles in the chat
  • One Minecraft world per save
  • And a bunch of secret features ;3. you can read the secret features in the README's spoiler section, but you can figure it out by finding hidden books.
