A Windows tray app that always shows your current virtual desktop as a translucent on-screen overlay and lets you jump straight to any desktop with custom hotkeys. A separate Linux/X11 build offers the same features.
- Translucent, click-through overlay showing
current / total desktop-name - Overlay follows you across every virtual desktop (pinned to all desktops)
- Optional indicator on every monitor
-
Jump to a desktop with
Ctrl+Alt+1…Ctrl+Alt+9(fully rebindable) - Configurable position, opacity, font size, colors, and hotkeys
- Two switching modes: smooth native animation (default) or instant direct jump — see Desktop Switching
- Tray menu + settings window; shows the current version
- Update check via GitHub Releases (plain-exe build); the Microsoft Store build updates through the Store
- Installation — Windows installer, Microsoft Store, Linux, from source
-
Configuration —
config.jsonreference, hotkeys, tray menu, settings - Desktop Switching — smooth vs. direct, and why far jumps behave differently
- Troubleshooting — hotkeys, flicker, stepping, multi-monitor
- Building & Releasing — build from source, installer, release workflow
- Microsoft Store (MSIX) — packaging the app for the Store
Grab the latest build from the Releases page (no .NET install required). See Installation for details.
