What's changed
Crash reporting reliability
- Deliver cached crash reports using the API key and custom endpoint captured when each report was created, including after process restarts, in #333.
- Remove abandoned Raygun-owned crash-report staging files after seven days and when explicitly clearing cached reports in #334.
Kotlin compatibility
- Publish Kotlin 2.2 metadata and
kotlin-stdlib2.2.21 so applications using Kotlin 2.1 can consume the SDK in #332. The Kotlin Gradle plugin used to build the SDK remains independent of these published compatibility targets.
Compatibility note
Cached reports written by 6.2.3 remain readable and use the current process API key and endpoint. Reports written by 6.3.0 store their API key and endpoint with the payload, but are not readable after downgrading to 6.2.3. Deliver pending reports before downgrading to avoid losing them.
- Minimum Android SDK remains 23.
- Compile SDK remains 36.
- WorkManager remains on 2.11.2 to retain API 23 support.
Build tooling and sample app
- Update actions/setup-java from 6.0.0 to 6.0.1 in #336.
- Update Spotless from 8.10.1 to 8.10.3 in #337.
- Update Android Gradle Plugin from 9.3.2 to 9.4.1 in #339.
- Update the sample app's ConstraintLayout dependency from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2 in #341.
- Update the Kotlin Gradle plugin from 2.4.10 to 2.4.20 while retaining Kotlin 2.2 publication compatibility in #342.
Release preparation
- Prepare 6.3.0 version metadata, changelog, compatibility note, and stable-version documentation in #343.
