OPTARI v0.8.6
New
- Motion widget: plots a spectral and a frame-to-frame motion score per frame, with a draggable frame line that is also in Time Analysis.
- Default frame: new options Motion (Spectral), Motion (frame-to-frame) and First ROI frame. Spectral falls back to frame-to-frame for single-wavelength scans.
- ROI presets: a “Location” dropdown from the segmentation classes and an editable top margin. Placed ROIs carry their location into exports.
- Batch mode: improved controls, validation by button, faster scan loading while validating, and a new preset for measuring a scan’s own ROIs.
- Exported metadata now includes the processing settings.
- Docs: workflow demo videos, an install FAQ for a missing Ubuntu system library, and fixed links.
Fixes
- Double-clicking a preset no longer resets the placement you chose.
- ROI from Mask keeps its class list when the model or preset changes.
- Generated ROIs have the exact size and margin you entered.
- Frame and spatial alignment in the export/import roundtrip.
- Misalignment from PATATO’s resolution reduction in unmixing.
Note
The config schema version was updated to 6: This means on first start, your ~/.optari/config folder (settings, the segmentation model list and all presets) is moved to ~/.optari/config_old_ and replaced with new defaults. Downloaded models, logs and autosaves are not affected.
