What this project does

This project's HTML and CSS framework is setup using Materialize. Dates are captured and parsed using Moment.js. Historical events are loaded using the MuffinLabs API and images are loaded using MediaWiki's API. These events are loaded to the page using JQuery and sorted using Masonry.

How users can get started with this project

1. Open Today in History.

   • This project will load with historical events from today's date in history.

2. Enter a new date.

   • Navigate to the calendar icon at the top of the page, select the date, and choose any day you would like.
   • After selecing "OK", new historical events will load at the top of the page.

3. Navigate forward or backwards.

   • Users can also change the date by selecting the forward arrow to navigate one day in the future or the back arrow to move one day into the past.
   • New historical events will load at the top of the page on each click.
