💡 Description

Per https://docs.sonarsource.com/sonarqube-cloud/enriching/test-coverage/python-test-coverage/, we want to enable SonarCloud to pickup the auto-generated test coverage. Once tested out here, let's try it on deep-archive as well to see if it shows up.

@jordanpadams to move forward on this I need someone with admin permissions on SonarCloud to disable "automatic analysis" for NASA-PDS/template-repo-python (at least this is what AI tells me).

The GitHub Actions-based SonarSource/sonarcloud-github-action has some powerful capabilities but is incompatible when automatic analysis is turned on. The error is:

SonarSource/sonarcloud-github-action step: You are running CI analysis while Automatic Analysis is enabled. Please consider disabling one or the other.

I'd prefer the GitHub Action to produce the coverage and other reports on demand and publish them to SonarCloud.
