Fixed

  • Added the missing top inset in browser mode while preserving native window and fullscreen spacing.
  • Unified the dashboard, favicon, README, and generated macOS icon around assets/app_icon.png; removed redundant branding images.
  • Included shared assets in Python distributions and standalone macOS builds.

Changed

  • Updated package, CLI, native bundle, build documentation, and Homebrew source URL to version 3.0.5.
  • CLI and native bundle versions now follow the package version constant.

Installing on macOS

This build is not notarized by Apple, so macOS may show "Mac Deep Cleaner is damaged and can't be opened" or block it on first launch.

To fix it:

  1. Download the Mac-Deep-Cleaner-macOS.zip and Unzip it.
  2. Move Mac Deep Cleaner.app to your /Applications folder.
  3. Open Terminal and run: 
    xattr -d com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Mac Deep Cleaner.app"
  4. Open the app normally.

Alternative without Terminal: right-click the app, choose Open, then confirm Open in the dialog. On recent macOS versions you may instead need to go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway after the first blocked attempt.

Only do this for builds downloaded from this repository's official Releases page.
