installjava8

installs java8 on ubuntu and removes other java instances

Instructions

1. download the installjava8 shell script
2. Get the Java 8 tarball from here
3. move the tarball to the folder containing the shell script
4. run the shell script sudo sh installjava8.sh
5. when prompted, copy the code in the terminal to the end of the profile (window will pop up)
6. save the profile and close gedit
7. press enter to continue
8. java8 is now installed. Reboot pc to reflect changes.
